Хенрик и Тарьяй консультировались с Торе по поводу своих ролей. Торе рассказал о своих впечатлениях о встрече.

M: Tore, I’ve heard a rumour. About you helping the SKAM-gays to be gay enough?
T: Yes.
M: What? Do tell!
читать дальшеT: The thing is, Isak’s story is pretty similar to mine. Even though we are pretty different as people, I was a bit more flamboyant.. So I talked them through what you do feel, what you don’t feel and how you would not react in a situation like that. They are super.. very serious actors, they get into the material. They had lots of questions prepared , it was really nice. Incredibly nice boys. I also helped them a bit with thank you-messages from gay organisations, they’re of course like “thanks!”, because it’s not really their fight. But it’s still important what they do, so I said they have to take that part seriously as well.
M: Did you join them on set?
T: No, I never did that. They just did research with me, the two of them.
M: The two of them? Oh my.. how exciting!
T: Yes, very exciting!
M: *whispering* Didn’t you really want to sleep with Henrik Holm?
T: No, I didn’t..
M: He’s so handsome.
T: But they were very.. straight, in a way. I don’t really get any hints of flirting there! It was very professional. But it was very nice!
M: But what did they ask about? Did you just tell them, or did they interview you?
T: Yes, both! I just started talking, and I speak from the guts. It took some time, maybe especially with Tarjei, before he understood that it was OK to ask me questions about anything. So I thought, I should just…
M: But did they ask like, how is it to be fucked? (lmao i really didnt know how to translate “tatt i toern”= taken in the second?)
*laughter*
T: No! No questions like that! It was about that anxiety you get, how paranoid you get when you’ve had that thought “I’m gay”, and you’re on edge all the time, right? And you make up stuff in your head that’s not even close to anything..
M: That’s fucking terrible, I remember it so well. Me and my friends in primary school were watching porn, as we did when we were young, and they were just like “look at that girl!” and I realised I was only watching the guy..
T: Forgot that she was there at all.
M: Yes, and then I repressed it for a hundred years.
T: It was something that annoyed me about that series Øyevitne (yep, the norwegian original of Eyewitness*), where they are kissing, and then they can’t tell anyone that six people have been shot when they were watching, because they have kissed. And they are two boys who are on a rally cross track, like they probably were all the time. And that doesn’t add up for me, story wise. So it was so much fun to get to answer their questions.
M: But were you many- or just you?
T: No, it was the two of them, and a psychiatrist. Because they of course have someone to talk to for that as well, who they can ask about stuff. And he was going to play bipolar as well, and you have to learn about that from somewhere too.
M: That was so well acted, that bipolar thing.
T: Very nice. Really good actors.
M: Soo good! But did you know that he was bipolar? Did you get to know stuff about the series?
T: No, only what was relevant at the time.
M: So it was during the filming?
T: Yes.
M: Oh my god, how was it for you to watch SKAM then? I would have gone crazy with pride!
T: So much fun. And they played it so beautifully. I talked about that intensity with the first kiss and stuff, which I feel is so all-consuming. And that’s maybe the most beautiful moment too, when they’re laying with their heads opposite ways and kissing each other. That’s so beautiful.
M: Aahh, now I miss Isak and Even! So you talked about that- Oh my god, that’s crazy, that you’ve told them how to react and stuff. Because it’s so enormously well acted!
T: Yeah, it’s really nice. And I think the most important thing is to say what they should not do.
M: What did you say they shouldn’t do then?
T: That when you have a secret like that, you don’t get cocky. All that hetero stuff, you need to get rid of that.
M: But Isak was a bit cocky, with that when he kinda hated gays and..?
T: But that was in his safe environment, in his room with a friend.
M: Yeah, true.. A defence mechanism.
T: But a bit more how things are outside. So it was very cool, so much fun, to get to work with such talented people, that’s so much fun. I feel very honoured.
M: So you were at NRK talking then??
T: Yes.
