Sana is in her room praying. We see flashes of Yousef from yesterday while she's praying.
She finishes her prayer and then opens her laptop. Sana googles "why cant muslims marry non-muslims".
She opens an article/question web site where someone called Ali seems to answer questions from other Muslims.
While Sana is reading we can hear her mom's voice outside the room.

Mom: Where have you been?
Elias: I slept at Yousef's ¨
Mom: Yousef?
Mom: But I saw Yousef together with Sana outside the window last night.
Sana closes her laptop and goes to listen in on their conversation.
Elias: I am 20 years old! Oh my god!
Mom: Don't 'oh my god' me! Hello!
Elias: My phone died.
Mom: Why didn't you call?
Elias: I told you my phone died.
Elias: I didn't do anything wrong!
Mom: Where were you last night?
Elias: I don't really understand what's your deal.
Mom: You don't have to. This is very simple, Elias.
Mom: Tell me where you were last night!
Elias: What is it that you want, mom?
Mom: I want to know where you've been.
Mom: As long as you live here, you follow our rules. End of discussion.
Mom: You have a sister who's 17 years old! You have a responsibility to be a good example for her!
Elias: Why are you involving her into this? She's almost 18 years old. She can look after herself.
Mom: Listen! I know she's mature and all - but I'm not happy that her and Yousef spend so much time together.
Sana is standing in her room with the door barely open - listening in to the conversation.
Mom: Is there something going on between them?
Elias: Don't ask me. You have to ask her.
Mom: Sana told me that she randomly met Yousef outside.
Elias: Well, if that's what she told you, you have to trust her word.
Elias: Stop being so sceptical and start trusting your kids more. Oh my God!

Elias leaves the conversation and Sana closes her door.
